What is Shine Your Light?

Shine Your Light is the official opening moment of Nutcracker Syndrome Awareness Day.
Beginning at 12:00 AM on December 18th in each time zone around the world, we invite patients, families, friends, advocates, medical professionals, and supporters to light a candle, or any meaningful light, in honor of everyone affected by Nutcracker Syndrome.
Each light represents strength, resilience, hope, and the belief that no one in this community should have to feel unseen or alone. As midnight reaches each part of the world, another light joins the movement, creating a global wave of awareness, remembrance, and hope.

How It Works:

1. Wait until midnight
2. Light your candle
3. Capture the moment
4. Share your light
When the clock reaches 12:00 AM on December 18th in your local time zone...
Or any light that is safe and meaningful to you.
Take a photo or short video.
Post it using #ShineALightOnNCS and tag @nutcrackersyndromeassociation for us to use and share!
