Sophia Lemon

Sophia Lemon is a college student who was diagnosed with left renal vein entrapment syndrome (more commonly known as Nutcracker Syndrome) in 2024. Since her diagnosis, she has undergone multiple procedures and has firsthand experience navigating the complexities of this rare vascular syndrome. Sophia is passionate about increasing awareness, improving understanding of patient experiences, and supporting others affected by rare vascular disorders. She hopes to offer a fresh perspective and new ideas for outreach, education, and advocacy, with a strong focus on amplifying patient voices. Sophia is excited to contribute her energy, creativity, and lived experience to further NCSA’s mission and community impact.
